For food industries worldwide, it is one of the most important platforms for expanding into the Oceania market.
This year, the Fine Food Australia will be held at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre in Australia for 4 days from September 9 to 12. Qingsheng Li, the Director-General of the Industrial Development and Investment Promotion Committee (IDIPC) from the Pingtung County government, will lead a group of 8 manufacturers from Pingtung to set up stalls in the exhibition. They attempt to assist small and medium-sized enterprises from Pingtung in finding international channel orders.
新鮮蔬菜及水果加工乾燥後可口香醇。（元屋國際 提供）Li said that the IDIPC actively has been organizing the Pingtung manufacturers to participate overseas exhibitions under the industrial development promotion of Men-an Pan, the Pingtung County magistrate, in order to sell Pingtung’s high-quality products globally. Throughout the years, they have visited Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, Sydney, Paris, Shanghai and other international indicative food exhibition, not only to help manufacturers to expand the export market, Pingtung County government team also received valuable overseas exhibiting experience and feedback. Hopefully, they can help the exhibitors to create greater business opportunities with the strength of the team.
This year, the IDIPC organized 8 manufacturers to enter New Zealand market located in the southern hemisphere. It includes the sesame oil from Yi-Shiang with a history of 150 years of traditional production, pure-natural brewed soy sauce from Doyoubo, Taiwan sandalwood tea gift box from Seven Star, green soybeans from Young-sun, dry fruits and vegetables from Yuanwu, tapioca pearl round from Doctor's Diary, egg products from Horn-Liang, pork or tuna floss egg roll from Wei-I, etc. Those unique and high-quality food factories will strike another record on the Fine Food Australia in 2019, on the eve of the Mid-Autumn Festival.◇
